Here on the edge of British Columbia's Okanagan and spread across a high plateau just minutes from picturesque Mabel Lake, we have lots for you to enjoy and explore. Take a break, cowboy style, with a relaxing stay in the comfort of our old-west guesthouse. Or bring the whole family or group for an exciting ranch tour and experience zebras, bison and so many more amazing animals.
Thinking about a guesthouse stay? Enjoy any of three suites with private view decks, in-room DVDs, bar fridges and barbecue. Awake to a gentle mountain morning and relax with your coffee while your ranch-sized, farm-fresh breakfast is served. And yes, we cater dinners. Take in the views and enjoy the visiting white-tailed deer, eagles, hawks, woodpeckers, coyotes and maybe even black bears. Stroll the land over hill and dale, watch our zebras and bison play, swim in crystal clear Mabel Lake or cool off in the deep and pure local swimmin' hole. At the day's end, gaze up and marvel at a blanket of stars far removed from city lights and listen to the mournful cry of the coyotes as you get cozy by a crackling fire. Out here, there's just you and the countryside. Peace and quiet, day and night.
Prefer to just drop in for a morning or afternoon visit? Please do! Take a ranch tour and get up close and personal with a zebra! Follow the creek to walk the buffalo trail and enjoy our bison in their fifteen acre grassland enclosure. Enjoy a variety of fun farm animals from lambs, bunnies, our friendly turkey toms, Lucky the ram, peacocks and peahens, horses, ponies, calves, Boomer the emu and alpacas, too. There's fun for everyone, the young and the not so young.
We've worked hard to create an environment that all our visitors will enjoy, whether for an hour, a weekend or a week ... one that will create lasting memories for one and all.
